Things I Am Loving

So, it's been a while! I haven't blogged in a long time! Quite a bit has happened! I'm married now and we are living in Arizona before we go back to school in January! I'm home for the next few months since that is what Larry and I both felt would be best. Turns out that was a good idea because I'm pretty certain I've somehow developed an ulcer. Yay me! So while I'm taking a blessed break from writhing in pain I figured I'd write a post!
Married life is wonderful. I can't believe how wonderful Larry is. He works so hard and takes such good care of me while I try my best to return the favor. We are enjoying the ward here and it's been REALLY nice to be close to his family! I lucked out with the in laws!!
We have been called to be assistant advisers to the Priests and Laurels. So tonight they are having a Halloween party and I'm supposed to make some pumpkin cookies. I wanted to make some that a member made us on my mission, but I've lost the recipe...only a little...but I saw something on Pinterest that I think looks kinda amazing! They are called Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies. Don't those sound amazing?? So I'm going to attempt them tonight! I figured I'd include the recipe, just in case!

Ingredients
3/4 Cup Butter (softened)
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 Small Pkg. Pumpkin Spice Pudding Mix
2 Eggs
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
2 1/4 Cups Flour
Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips (The recipe calls for two to three cups but I prefer my cookies more like a little cookie with my chocolate chips...)

Directions
Cream butter, brown sugar and sugar together in a large bowl.
Add in dry pumpkin spice instant pudding mix and beat until well combined.
Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Add flour and baking soda and beat until well combined.
Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Roll dough into 1" balls. Place them on a greased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes.

So as well as planning out cookies, and trying to decide if we should dress up for the party, I've been discovering Etsy and all the awesome iPhone cases they have for wonderfully reasonable prices! Now, personally, I'm a girl and naturally drawn to the sparkly, but they have some really great other cases as well! There are some great picture cases, I love the ones that look like a camera, but aren't. There's a ton of Dr. Who cases and, well, I'm just having too much fun adding to my wish list! So I figured I'd share some of my favorites!

First off here's one of the camera cases I mentioned:

This one I love because it's leather, looks like a European envelope, and it protects the screen all at the same time:

And because I love sparkles:

There are a ton more and the links to find them are all on a board I just started on Pinterest http://pinterest.com/shess1788/iphone-cases/ Anyway, hulu is waiting! So off I go! Hope you all have a great and safe Halloween!!
