Yay! The temple has been closed for a few weeks (longest weeks of my life!) and it's opening up tomorrow!
You know, I knew that we were lucky to have a temple so close, but going on a mission and not being able to go and realizing that the only temple was hours away made me especially grateful for the incredible blessing of having one so close!
I really hope that everyone who has the opportunity to go there appreciates what they have.
Anyway, just late night ramblings!
I'm really missing the mission right now. I guess everyone has the tendency to remember only the good things, but there's just so much good on a mission you really wonder if there was anything bad. You forget the hard times, you don't forget what you learned from the hard times, but I love remembering the good ones. I love remembering the crazy rain and the times tracting and the friendships I found there. You know, I even kinda miss riding a bike in a skirt...I know, I know, I'm crazy! But I do miss it.
Anyway, I just hope we all remember how blessed we are to have what we do. Family, friends, just anything. Don't take any of it for granted.
